Jun Muay Thai is an open air gym with 2 full size rings, 14 bags, 11 sit up benches, 7 punch tyres, 2 punch pads and multi purpose jig saw floor mats. We have a high raised roof which allow great air flow through the gym as well as ceiling fans to help you cool down.

The Gym is open daily
Monday – Saturday 7:30am – 9:30pm & evening session 4:30 – 6:30pm
One on one private lesson between 9:00am – 3:30pm
Closed Sunday
Morning session starts at 7:30am – 9:30am
7:30am run for 30minutes longer if you are fighting and skipping.
8:00am shadow box for 10 minutes with trainer follow trainers instructions.
8:00am Kicking, punching, elbowing etc for 4 rounds on the bag.
Pad work with the teacher will include kicking, kneeing, elbowing etc for 3 rounds. (If you are fighting 5 or 6 rounds morning and evening) Clinching for 30 minutes.
Kick the bags 50 times each leg for 5 sets knee the bags 100 times without stopping for 5 sets (If you are getting ready to fight you would do more.)
Sit-ups / free weights. Cool down stretching.
Training evening session starts at 04:30 pm – 06:30 pm
4:30pm run for 30 minutes (longer if fighting)
5:00pm Skipping for 10 minutes.
5:10pm Shadow box follow the trainers instructions.
Kick the pads with trainers for 3 – 4 rounds longer if you are fighting. Bag work for 4 rounds.
Clinching for 30 minutes with other students / trainers. Kick bags 50 times 5 – 10 sets no stopping with each leg. Knee bags 100 times 5 sets no stopping. Pull-ups cool down stretching.

- When you first start training Muay Thai for the first time, you can usually only do 2 – 3 hours of training a day.
- Going into the 2nd week of training you have already improved your fitness, technique and stamina.
- Moving into the 3rd week of training you are able to do at least 5 hours of training.
- By the 2nd month of training you will have improved your fitness and lost those unwanted Kgs, plus you are starting to look more like a professional fighter. When you have reached the 3rd month you will have peaked and are ready to impress all.
To give yourself an ideal time to improve you need at least 3 months.
